The family

Pierre PRULHO, ward of the nation, was born in Bordeaux in 1891. His third son, Robert PRULHO, was born in the Cognac region in 1926, into a very modest family. He started out as an apprentice boilermaker in 1942. His passion for Cognac led him to become a still builder in 1948.

His son Richard joined the family business in 1981. Today, they represent two generations of expertise and passion for cognac. Understanding the importance of quality distillation, they have built the finest and most efficient distilling equipment to equip the most prestigious distilleries in Cognac and around the world.

But their passion didn't stop there.
They have also developed their know-how in ageing and blending to produce exceptional cognacs in the purest traditions for the pleasure and delight of connoisseurs. Joined by his daughter Mélissa, Richard PRULHO continues to carefully select the finest eaux de vie. His talent as a cellar master is widely recognized. Today, PRULHO Cognacs are known and recognized for their excellence.

With their extensive knowledge of the Cognac region, Robert and Richard have developed an art of Cognac selection and blending.

They have created two ranges of exceptional Cognacs in the purest traditions, for the pleasure and delight of connoisseurs.

Richard Prulho has opted for selective distribution of his Cognacs. Their originality and rarity make them an exceptional gift.

Several gold medals reward the quality of Prulho Cognacs.
